Grant Proposal Writing and Prospect Research

Sucessful grant proposals and letters of inquiry (an abbreviated first-step proposal often required by foundations), require strong writing skills and the ability to cut through jargon to highlight an organization's successes and needs. Effective proposals paint an image of the organization's niche and its goals and show the importance of providing operating costs and program-specific funding.

In addition to experience in writing successful grant proposals and letters of inquiry, I am skilled in prospect research on foundations, corporations and individuals and I have access to numerous databases including The Foundation Center's Professional-level Directory.

Click on the links below to view samples of my successful proposals and letters of inquiry. Please note that proprietary information, including organization names and budgetary info, has been removed from these proposals.
