Fundraising isn't easy. But organizations can improve their success rate by ensuring that marketing, communications and development staff function as a cohesive team and present a consistent image of the organization.

My fundraising experience includes:

• Creation and implemention of a "development" department for The Elie Wiesel Foundation, complete with donor acknowledgement policies; writing annual appeal letter resulting in  $500,000--an increase of 188% over previous annual appeal; development of online giving (through renovated website); prospect research; implementation of eTapestry donor relationship mangement sotfware; and writing of foundation and corporate letters of inquiry and grant and sponsorship proposals
  


• Management of 2004 NASDAQ National Teaching Awards table sales for the National Council for Economic Education (NCEE), resulting in a 70% increase in net profit from table sales
  


• Writing and editing honorary award proposals, annual appeal letters and direct mail inserts for Beginning with Children Foundation and charter schools
  


• Development of regional corporate sponsorship proposals for NCEE Goldman Sachs National Economics Challenge
  


• Prospect research and writing of letters of inquiry and grant proposals for Areyvut
  


• Creation of Reach for the Stars Wine Tasting and Charity Auction for A Better Chance
  


• Background research and writing for letter of inquiry for ultra-competitive Jewish Women's Foundation annual RFP, resulting in $25,000 grant for New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), creation of annual grants calendar and writing of more than $500,000 in grant reports, proposals and renewals
